Musical Direction: Purcell & more

I'm the musical director of several groups. My work is progressing around vocal music, from the Middle Ages to the Baroque.

Dido & Æneas is small masterpiece: the last opera by Henry Purcell (1659-1695). He have divulged the englishman's opera throughout all of Portugal.

I have a particular appreciation for the Italian seicento with its fantasy.
Dario Castello (ca. 1590–ca. 1630) is one of my favourites.

The music from the Iberian Peninsula from the Age of Troubadours (11th-14th centuries) is another of my singled out areas. Moreover, there are not abundant opportunities to listen this music performed by portuguese musicians. Even if we share the same southwestern extremity of Europe, we are apart from the spaniards in our way of life.
